Half Lion, half Dragon, they slither back and forth on the walls of ancient monasteries, entwined and fire breathing. Inspired from the wall paintings of a 12th century monastery in Western Tibet, we have given them new life. Their likes travelled back and forth along the Silk Road, and their distant cousins were found adorning the banners and brocades of middle age Europe.
