Naturally speckled with dark spots, these superior lotus seed beads are the result of much hard labour and love! The lotus seeds are initially found covered in husks that are difficult to remove, requiring a series of procedures to polish each bead – whiter colored beads require more the work and are hence considered superior. Lotus is an auspicious symbol symbolising purity within Tibetan Buddhism. These particular malas are strung with a strong special thread with matching beads as tassle. To add to the natural beauty of the lotus seeds, these malas have 3 carnelian or other stones like emythist, rose quartz etc., that help the user keep count of mantras. These come in 2 sizes: small and large.
